I'M SO EXCITED

I'm so excited to tell you what I've been doing lately! I've been giving out free books to people all over my community. Yep, you heard it right. They're absolutely free! All you need to do in return is pass the book you're given on to someone else when you're finished with it. I joined World Book Night two years ago as a way to encourage everyone to read because I believe that reading can change lives just like it did mine so many years ago. I also believe that by handing out these free books I am giving a little back to the people that stood by me and encouraged me to go back to school and to become a writer. This year I was thrilled to hand out Favorite American Poems, which includes some of my favorite authors such as Bradstreet, Emerson, Longfellow, Poe, Whitman, Frost, Crane, and many others.
